BOSS: Demyx
Demyx has 1005 HP, 29 Strength, and 16 Defense. He grants 0 Experience. He drops an Armor Slot (Sora), Blizzard Element (Sora), Blizzard Boost (Donald), and HP +5 (Goofy).
Demyx's attacks include:
- Water Dancers: He shouts "Dance Water, Dance!" before summoning these. You must defeat all Dancers before time runs out or you lose. Use the Reaction Command "Wild Dance" after hitting one Dancer to quickly defeat many.
- Water Dash: Demyx dashes forward and creates a circle of pillars around him. Stay close or far away, but avoid the space in between.
- Bubble Blaster: Can be Guarded or Reflected.
- Bubble Drop: Requires you to move to avoid.
- Water Finish: Used after Demyx shouts, "Get to the beat!". He strikes with his Sitar, sending out numerous water pillars. It is difficult to dodge; sometimes it is easier to get hit once and then use Aerial Dodge to avoid subsequent pillars.
- Pillar Cast: Water pillars chase Sora.
When Demyx starts marching towards Sora and says, "Ain't it a blast?", you can use the Reaction Command "Show Stealer" to stun him and deal damage.
Tips
- Azz are immune to Fire and take full damage from Blizzard, so use Blizzard to defeat them.
- Azz can use a Shockwave if you get too close.
- Throughout the battle against Demyx, try to avoid using Drive Forms, as battles against Organization XIII members have a higher chance of changing into Anti-Form, which can be lethal.
- For the Battle of 1000 Heartless, use the Reaction Commands "Rising Sun" and "Sparkle Ray" to defeat large groups quickly.
- Neoshadows are faster and stronger than regular Shadows and fight more strategically. Watch their movements and strike with a combo.
- In groups of Neoshadows, use the Reaction Command "Wind Dance" (also referred to as "Aerial Dance") to deal substantial damage.
