Follow our guide to complete the Homecoming assignment in Mass Effect: Legendary Edition. Learn how to start the mission, make dialogue choices, and earn Paragon or Renegade points.
Walkthrough
- 1After completing the events at Chora's Den and reporting to Ambassador Udina, return to the Embassy.
- 2As you try to leave, a man will call out to you near reception. Speak to him to begin the Homecoming assignment.
- 3The man, Samesh, explains he needs his wife's body released for a proper burial. He directs you to Bosker, who is in charge of the matter.
- 4Go to the Embassy Lounge and find Bosker by the bar. Speak with him.
- 5You have dialogue options:
- Saying “This isn’t right.” (requires 2 points of Charm) will convince Bosker and earn +8 Paragon.
- 6Saying “I’m releasing the body.” (requires 2 points of Intimidate) will force Bosker to release the body and earn +9 Renegade.
- 7After dealing with Bosker, you will need to speak with Samesh again.
- 8You can choose to agree with Bosker and convince Samesh of the greater good, or choose other options. Return to Samesh to make a final decision.
- 9You have new dialogue choices:
- Saying “This is important.” (requires 3 points of Charm) will win Samesh over and earn +8 Paragon.
- 10Saying “This is war.” (requires 3 points of Intimidate) will force Samesh to see reason and earn +9 Renegade.
- 11Other dialogue choices will give you more time to decide or raise your Charm and Intimidate skills.
- 12You cannot complete this assignment without passing a Charm or Intimidate skill check. If you do not have enough points in either skill, you will need to leave and return later after leveling up.
