Jahleed's Fears

Make your way to the C-Sec Offices on the Citadel. You can use the Citadel Rapid Transit or head below the Embassy on the Presidium. Find Jahleed speaking to a C-Sec Officer on the west side of the offices. Eavesdrop on their conversation, then speak to Jahleed. Agree to his request to begin the Assignment.

Jahleed will tell you Chorban is in the markets on the Wards, specifically the Lower Markets in the Lower Wards. Save your game before speaking to Chorban, as the path may diverge here.

If this is your first time meeting Chorban (you did not accept or complete 'Scan the Keepers'): Chorban will pull a gun on you. You cannot prevent a firefight. Two bodyguards will join him. Use nearby explosives by firing at them when enemies approach. Take cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) behind stalls and focus on Chorban. When he sustains enough damage, he will surrender.

As Chorban pleads for his life, you can choose:

Saying "Scanning?" opens the opportunity to complete the 'Scan the Keepers' Assignment and earn +2 Renegade.

Declining his offer to scan the Keepers sends him away without further bloodshed.

Deciding to kill him earns +9 Renegade.

If you have met Chorban before and/or completed 'Scan the Keepers': Chorban will call off his bodyguards, and you will avoid a firefight.

Tell him "No More." to have him give up his research and earn +8 Paragon.

Return to the C-Sec offices to confront Jahleed.

Saying "I'm turning you in." leads to further choices:

Use Charm (requires 7 points) or Intimidate (requires 6 points) to have him turn himself in, earning +8 Paragon or +2 Renegade respectively.

Saying "Too bad." will lead a C-Sec officer to interfere. Selecting "Definitely." or "Yes." will lead to Jahleed's arrest and complete the Assignment.

Saying "Too bad." will lead a C-Sec officer to interfere. Selecting "We're fine." allows you to ask for Payment, receiving 150 Credits. You can also choose to help with his research, beginning the 'Scan the Keepers' Assignment.
