Your Mass Effect: Legendary Edition (ME1) walkthrough continues! After Eden Prime, explore the Normandy, chat with the crew, and gather Codex entries before heading to the Citadel.

Alright, you've finished up on Eden Prime and interacted with that Prothean Beacon. Now, things are going to shift gears as you find yourself back on the Normandy. After a bit of a scene, you'll wake up and have a chat with either Kaidan or Ashley (depending on who you chose to leave at the beacon, which is tied to Shepard's gender) and Doctor Chakwas. Honestly, don't stress too much about your dialogue choices here – they don't really impact anything. Captain Anderson will show up, have a quick word, and then usher them out. You'll snag a couple of Codex Entries and get a new objective, but before you head off to talk to Joker and continue the main story, it's a great time to explore the ship and chat with your crewmates.

Before you even leave the Medical Bay, make sure to check the Aid Station on the wall. You'll find another Codex Entry tucked away there.

Secondary - Citadel and Galactic Government / Citadel Station Statistics
Primary - Weapons, Armor, and Equipment / Medi-Gel

Now, head out of the Medical Bay and make your way to the Mess Hall. You can chat with the crew members hanging out there. Doctor Chakwas has some interesting info about biotics, and if you want to get a little Paragon or Renegade points, you can choose the upper-right (Paragon) or lower-right (Renegade) dialogue options when talking to Kaidan and Ashley. Once you're done with those conversations, look for your Shepard’s Locker. Give it a good search – you might find another Codex Entry and maybe even some useful loot.

Once you've finished up with the crew in the Mess Hall, it's time to head down to Engineering. Take the elevator and then follow the ramps and doors until you reach the engine room. Here, you'll want to examine a terminal called the “Field Integrity Monitor” and then the “Element Zero Core” just beyond it. Both of these will net you two more Codex Entries. After that, make your way back to the Vehicle Bay. Here, you can examine the “M35 Mako” and then have a chat with the Requisitions Officer. He'll give you two more Codex Entries.

Primary - Technology / Mass Effect Fields
Primary - Technology / Omni-tool

The Requisitions Officer might not have much that interests you right now, and honestly, you probably can't afford it anyway. However, he'll give you some information about Licenses. It's worth considering picking up the Grenade Upgrade and Medigel Upgrade if you have the funds. These will increase your carrying capacity for grenades and Medi-Gel, respectively, which can be super helpful.

Now, head back up to the Quarters and then go upstairs to the Command Deck. This is the area you spent most of your time in when you were on the Normandy earlier. First, check out the “NAVMANUAL 1.4.1” monitor on the CIC. Then, move into the Comm Room and examine the “FTL Comm Link”. Both of these will give you another Codex Entry.

Secondary- Technology / Communications

And with that, you've pretty much scoured the Normandy for all the Codex Entries it has to offer… for now, anyway. Your next step is to head up to the Bridge and have a chat with Joker. This will get the ship moving towards the Citadel, where your next big adventure awaits!
