Noveria: Port Hanshan

Press forward (west) from the elevator in Port Hanshan Plaza and take the first right (north) to find Merchant Opold. He will ask you to smuggle for him, starting the assignment Noveria: Smuggling.

To get the pass needed to leave Port Hanshan, you can either:

• Nark on Opold to Anoleis. Return to where the Normandy is docked and pick up Opold’s Package. Do not deliver it yet.

Talk to Lorik Qui’in. He will ask you to recover evidence of Anoleis’s corruption from the Synthetic Insights offices.

If you choose to nark on Opold, return to Port Hanshan Plaza and find Anoleis in the “Administration Office” area in the southeastern corner. Head down the first stairs to the left (south), then take another left (east) and pass through Parasini’s office. Talk to Anoleis and exhaust his dialog options. Choose ”Opold asked me to smuggle.” and hand over Opold’s contraband to gain access to the garage. This completes Noveria: Smuggling.

If you do not give Opold’s contraband to Anoleis, Parasini will suggest you talk to Lorik Qui’in. This starts the mission Noveria: Lorik Qui’in. You can also talk directly to Lorik Qui’in to bypass Anoleis and Parasini.

To reach the elevator leading to the Port Hanshan Mezzanine, make your way west from Opold’s shop.

When you exit the elevator into the Port Hanshan Mezzanine, you will be hailed by Mallene Calis. Talk to her to start the assignment Noveria: Espionage.

Talk to Lorik Qui’in in the Mezzanine. He will tell you about his spat with Anoleis and offer his garage pass if you recover evidence of Anoleis’s corruption from the locked-down Synthetic Insights offices.

Ride the elevator back down to the Port Hanshan Plaza, then head to the southwestern corner to find the elevator leading to Synthetic Insights.

When you arrive at Synthetic Insights, pass through a doorway to confront two ERCS Guards. You can pass a Charm (6 ranks) check with ”You’re here illegally.” for Paragon +8, or an Intimidate (8 ranks) check with ”You can’t take us.” for Renegade +9 to avoid a fight.

If you cannot pass the checks or choose not to, you will have to fight the ERCS Guards and other enemies like ERCS Guards and Assault Drones. Some foes may use technical abilities like Sabotage. Higher difficulties may feature health regeneration and Immunity.

Loot the Synthetic Insights building. Find a Locked Crate [Easy], a Weapon Locker [Easy], and an Upgrade Kit. Head upstairs and loot a Crate. Hack a door to the north [Easy] to find a Wall Safe [Easy], a Medical Kit, and a Technician Kit.

Enter Lorik’s Office across a bridge to the south.
