Normandy After Therum

After Therum, Liara joins your squad! Explore the Normandy, chat with your crew, and collect Codex Entries. Learn what to do next in Mass Effect: Legendary Edition.

Alright, you've just finished up on Therum (or Feros/Noveria, depending on your path), and it's time to head back to the Normandy. This is a pretty chill section where you get to debrief, pick up some new intel, and maybe even start some romances!

First things first, Joker will give you the rundown. You'll chat with the crew about the mission and Liara's new role. Her knowledge is crucial for understanding the whole Conduit/Reaper situation, and since Saren is after her, keeping her close makes perfect sense. After Liara officially joins the team, Joker will ask if you want to report to the Council. It's your job as a Spectre, after all. Honestly, nothing major comes of this conversation – no Paragon or Renegade points – so feel free to engage or skip it as you see fit.

Now, let's get you some extra Codex Entries. Head to the CIC and find the “Point Defense Systems” terminal near Pressly. Then, make your way up to the Bridge. Along the way, check out the two “Heat Load Monitors” you'll pass. Once you're on the Bridge, interact with the “Gunnery Station” on the right. All of these will unlock new Codex Entries for you.

Feeling chatty? You can talk to your crewmates now, and if you're feeling particularly charming, you might even be able to start a romance. Plus, there are more points of interest scattered around the Normandy that will give you additional Codex Entries.

Next, backtrack to the CIC and head down to the Quarters level. Here, you can chat with Kaidan and Liara. Depending on your Commander Shepard's gender, you might be able to initiate some flirtatious dialogue with them, and you'll definitely pick up more Codex Entries.

Finally, make your way down to Engineering. This is where you can find Ashley, Garrus, Tali, and Wrex. Have a word with them to snag more Codex Entries, and if you're playing as a female Shepard, you can try to flirt with Ashley here too. Don't forget to check out the “Core Charge Status” terminal near Engineer Adams for one last Codex Entry.

And that's it for your time on the Normandy for now! You're free to continue exploring the galaxy, tackle any outstanding assignments, or head off to Feros or Noveria. You can also choose to return to the Citadel, as it often has new things to offer after major story missions, including more assignments.
