I Remember Me

Alright, so you're looking to tackle the 'I Remember Me: Me' assignment in Mass Effect: Legendary Edition? This one's pretty straightforward, but it's tied to your character's background, so make sure your Shepard's Pre-Service History is set to 'Colonist'. If it's not, you won't even see this pop up. You'll need to have completed a main mission and then head back to the Citadel. Take the elevator up to C-Sec from the Docking Bay.

As soon as you step out of the elevator, you'll get a transmission from Lieutenant Girard. He's got a lead on someone from Shepard's old colony who survived that attack. Head back down to the Docking Bay and chat with Girard. He'll give you a Sedative, which is key to how this plays out.

The Needle

Lieutenant Girard's advice is to use the sedative on Talitha to calm her down, which is definitely the way to go instead of letting his snipers handle it. You'll need to be super careful with how you approach her, though. Don't just rush in! Take your time, maybe save your game right before you get too close. When you're ready, approach Talitha.

After you start talking to her, you'll see an option pop up: “(Take a step towards her.)“. This is where you need to be really strategic. You can only take one step forward for each topic you discuss under the Investigate dialogue option. If you take too many steps too quickly, she'll get spooked and jump, which ends the assignment right there. Use this one-step-at-a-time approach, mixing in Charm or Intimidate options when they appear, until you're close enough to get the final options.

• Giving her the sedative by choosing “Give her the sedative.” will net you +8 Paragon. This is the peaceful route.
• If you choose “Use the sedative.”, you'll forcefully administer it, earning you +9 Renegade.
• Your last option is to let Girard’s Snipers take her down, which also results in +9 Renegade.

No matter which path you choose, the assignment wraps up after this encounter. And hey, if Talitha survives, you'll actually hear from her again in Mass Effect 2, so keep that in mind!
