Guide to visiting Erebus in Mass Effect: Legendary Edition. Learn how to start UNC: Listening Post Alpha on Nepmos and find all lootable points of interest.

Alright, so you want to check out the Erebus system in the Styx Theta cluster? First things first, you'll need to have finished up the mission on Noveria. Once that's done, you can head over to Nepmos.

Now, Nepmos can be a bit quirky. You might not have an official assignment pop up when you land. If that's the case, don't worry! Just visit one of the Listening Posts on the surface, and that should kick off the UNC: Listening Post Alpha assignment. If you've already done UNC: Listening Post Theta in the nearby Acheron system, this assignment might start automatically after that. Either way, after you've dealt with those waves of rachni at the Listening Post in the southeastern part of the map, you'll need to make your way to a Rachni Infested Mine in the southwestern corner to wrap things up.

Besides the main assignment, keep an eye out for some other stuff. There are some unmarked rachni nests just west of the center of the map (a little east of a Buried Strongbox) and another one to the northeast (which is southwest of a Mining Camp). Speaking of that Mining Camp, you'll find some lootable items stashed away in some shelters nearby.

Here’s a quick rundown of what you can find scattered around Nepmos:

  • UNC: Listening Post Alpha (starts at a Listening Post)
  • Crashed Probe (loot)
  • League of One Medallion
  • Light Metal
  • Heavy Metal
  • Rare Element

And on the other planets in the Erebus system:

  • Quaji: Heavy Metal
  • Wermani: Prothean Data Disc
