Alright, let's tackle the 'Unusual Readings: Unc Distress Call' Assignment in Mass Effect: Legendary Edition. It's a pretty straightforward one, but you'll need to know where to look.

How to Begin:

You've got two options to kick this one off. The earliest way is actually back on the Citadel. Head over to the Embassies on the Presidium and find Ambassador Udina's office. Inside, you'll see a Computer Console that you can hack. Doing so will snag you the Alliance Report needed to start the Assignment. Alternatively, if you're already exploring the Argos Rho cluster, just warp to the Hydra system and make your way to the planet Metgos. You'll pick up a transmission there that gets the ball rolling.

Investigate Distress Call:

Once you've got the Assignment active, make your way to the Hydra system in the Argos Rho cluster and select the planet Metgos. As soon as you land, Shepard will pick up a transmission. Your objective is to head to the Transponder Signal, which is located to the south of where you start. As you get close to the medical ship, get ready – you're going to be ambushed by the Geth!

You'll face a mix of enemies: two Geth Armatures, three Geth Rocket Troopers, and two Geth Rocket Drones. Honestly, this fight is way easier in the Legendary Edition thanks to the Mako being much more powerful and the improved aiming. Use your primary gun to quickly take out the Rocket Drones and Troopers. Then, for the Geth Armatures, you'll want to keep moving to dodge their missiles. Use the Mako's main cannon with sustained bursts from the primary gun to cripple and destroy them.

Once all the Geth are dealt with, you'll complete the Assignment right there. Easy peasy!
