The Jyuratodus is a Piscine Wyvern encountered in Monster Hunter: World. It features in a few key quests, including the assignment "Sinister Shadow in the Swamp" and "The Piscine Problem." Strengths and Weaknesses:

The Jyuratodus's weak spots are its head and tail. Its head, body, fins, and tail are all breakable. It can cover itself in mud, which makes it resistant to Fire and Thunder, while remaining weak to Water. When not covered in mud, it is still resistant to Fire, moderately resistant to Water, and vulnerable to Thunder damage. Ice and Dragon damage are ineffective in either state. It is only vulnerable to the Stun ailment, with Poison and Paralysis being more effective than Sleep and Blast among the remaining ailments.

Attacks:

The Jyuratodus attacks include lunges, bites, tail sweeps, and slower, more erratic charges. It can also spit globs of mud up to three times in succession. Its mud can impede player mobility and inflict Waterblight. While it prefers swampy terrain and is hindered by deep water, it can stand on its fins to move and attack awkwardly on land. Luring a Barroth and Jyuratodus together can trigger a territorial dispute.

Recommended Skills and Items:

Aquatic Expertise: Speeds up movement in water and reduces the impact of water on evasion. Gear like Gajau Boots, Jyura Helm, or Mirewalker Jewels can provide this.
Nulberries: To combat Waterblight.
Watermoss: Can be gathered and used with a Thunder weapon to increase damage.
