Tackle the RRRRRumble in the Waste quest in Monster Hunter: World. Learn strategies for hunting Diablos and Black Diablos, and dealing with a Bazelgeuse.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
You'll start this quest in the Wildspire Waste. Your objective is to hunt both a Diablos and a Black Diablos. These two can be quite a handful, especially when they decide to fight each other, which can actually work in your favor by softening them up. However, don't try to take on both at once; their combined attacks can quickly lead to you fainting.
  2. 2
Your best bet is to try and lure one of the Diablos away from the other. You can use Dung Pods to make one of them move away, allowing you to focus on a single target. This makes the fight much more manageable, almost like a prolonged one-on-one battle.
  3. 3
Remember that capturing monsters significantly shortens the fight. This is especially true here, since you really don't want to be caught between two enraged Diablos, particularly if they're near their nests.
  4. 4
Keep an eye out for an interfering Bazelgeuse, which will show up after you've defeated your first target. This opportunistic flyer can add another layer of danger. Again, Dung Pods are your best friend here for deterring it and keeping it from crashing your party.
Tips
  • Try to lure one Diablos away from the other to avoid fighting them simultaneously.
  • Use Dung Pods to manage monster locations, especially to deter the Bazelgeuse.
  • Capturing the monsters will make the fight much quicker and safer.
  • Be aware that the Diablos and Black Diablos can fight each other, which you can use to your advantage.

Upon successfully completing this challenging quest, you'll receive the Astera Beer ingredient. If that's not quite enough, returning to the Research Base and speaking with the Third Fleet Master will grant you the Affinity Booster. This tool, when deployed, creates a mist that boosts hunter affinity by 60 seconds, making it a valuable asset for your party's damage output.
