Stats / Weaknesses:
- Elements: Fire (Weak), Water (Weak), Thunder (Weak), Ice (Weak), Dragon (Weak)
- Ailments: Poison (Resistant), Sleep (Immune), Paralysis (Weak), Blast (Resistant), Stun (Weak)
Phases:
- Phase 1 (Uncharged): Xeno'Jiiva is less aggressive. Its attacks include tail smashes, lumbering charges, and basic energy blasts (single bursts or volleys). It has a powerful front-leg slam attack.
- Phase 2 (Charged): Xeno'Jiiva's body glows, starting with its front legs, head, tail, and wings, eventually turning orange. Its attacks gain fire trails and explosions. The front-leg slam now causes ground explosions and deploys mines. Energy beams also leave fire trails.
Strategy:
- General: Xeno'Jiiva is a large, relatively slow monster with some bursts of speed. Its main threats are its energy attacks and its charged-up state.
- Dodging: Most energy blasts can be dodged by rolling. Be aware of the sustained beams and sweeping attacks. When Xeno'Jiiva rears up, roll to its side or behind it to avoid its slams and energy torrents.
- Charged State: When Xeno'Jiiva is charged, its attacks leave damaging fire trails. Avoid standing on these trails. Be particularly cautious of its front-leg slam, which now creates explosions and mines on the ground.
- Close Combat: While Xeno'Jiiva's limbs rarely cause direct damage, they can knock you down. Its charged attacks become more dangerous for close-range hunters due to fire trails and explosions.
- Energy Blasts: Pay attention to its telegraphs, such as hopping back before a sustained beam. Dodge volleys of blasts by rolling.
- Mines: Avoid the glowing blue lights that indicate mines, whether deployed voluntarily or as a follow-up to its ground-smashing attacks.
- Environmental Awareness: The battleground is large and flat. Use the space to dodge attacks.
