What You'll Need:

• Tranq Bombs: You usually need two. Craft them using Sleep Herb + Parashroom.
• Traps: Either a Shock Trap or a Pitfall Trap. Shock Traps are often easier to set up. Craft them with Thunderbug + Trap Tool.

The Capture Process:

1. Preparation is Key: Before you even head out, make sure you've crafted your Tranq Bombs and traps. You don't want to be caught without them mid-hunt!
2. Accept a Hunt: Pick any assignment, quest, or investigation that involves hunting a monster. Just remember, Elder Dragons can't be captured, so avoid those.
3. Scoutfly Power: As you hunt, make sure to investigate monster tracks to max out your Scoutfly Level. This lets you track the monster's status and know when it's weak.
4. The Skull Icon: Keep an eye on your minimap. When the monster has a skull icon next to its marker, it means it's near death. This is your cue!
5. Let it Retreat: At this point, it's often easiest to let the monster retreat to its lair to rest.
