Learn how to defeat De La Sombra and his powerful monster Hephaestus in Monster Train. Get the Pupa Body recipe and secure your castle!

Alright, so you've made it back to the yard, but guess what? Grimshaw's got some bad news: De La Sombra's decided to squat in your place! We need to get him out of there. Head to the northeast corner of the yard and climb the stairs. Once you're up, make your way to the north side of the upper cemetery. That's where you'll find Senor Brazo de la Sombra himself.

Here's the kicker: when you try to convince him to leave, he's not having it. Instead, he'll unleash Hephaestus on you. And trust me, this monster is no joke – it will absolutely wreck you if you're not prepared.

Don't worry, though. Back at the castle, the Doctor has a plan. He says with the right biological parts, you might actually stand a chance. There's a hidden cave in the Neverglades that's got the ingredients you need. So, head back to the Neverglades and find Zig by his spaceship. He'll give you a pointer towards the hidden cave. Once you find it, you'll need to tear down the vines blocking the entrance by wiggling the Wiimote. Inside, you'll need to complete two Challenges. No matter what, you'll walk away with some Burlap Sacs and Fresh Brains.

Now, back at the Castle, it's time to get crafting. Use the items you found to create a torso and head. Super important: You *must* follow Dr. Sondebar's instructions exactly. Even if you think you have better parts or the full recipe, stick to his plan for now. Here's the recipe: Burlap Sac + Dried Sinew makes the Head, and Fresh Brain + Sticky Goo makes the Torso. If you forget, don't sweat it – you can always check the quest menu with IGOR.

Once you've got those parts, equip them and head back to face De La Sombra again. The rematch against Hephaestus will still be tough, but this time, after about five rounds, De La Sombra will be impressed. If you can just survive that long, he'll finally give you the Pupa Body recipe.

With all three MSA members back where they belong, they decide to put their best blueprints and recipes into the giant vault. But just as they're doing that, the Mayor shows up to interrupt the party.
