Walkthrough

    From Lavaridge Town, exit east and jump over the ledges.

    Head north and take the cable car up Mt. Chimney. If you cannot fly, the alternate route starts at Route 123, heading west to Route 118, into Mauville City, north to Routes 111 and 112, then up the steps to the Cable Car.

    In Mt. Chimney, battle the following trainers:
    • Beauty Shirley (Numel Lv. 21) - $1680

    Beauty Shelia (Shroomish Lv. 21) - $1680

    Expert Shelby (Meditite Lv. 21, Makuhita Lv. 21) - $840

    Beauty Melissa (Marill Lv. 21) - $1680

    Hiker Sawyer (Geodude Lv. 21) - $840. Melissa and Sawyer can be battled as a team battle for $2520.

    After defeating the trainers, head south into Jagged Pass.

    With the Magma Emblem, the ground will shake. Jump down the ledges, and an opening will form on the wall where a Team Magma member was previously located. Enter this opening to find Magma Hideout.

    Recommended: Use Repels as wild Pokémon can be annoying.

    Required: Have a Pokémon with the move Strength.

    Wild Pokémon: Geodude (Very Common), Torkoal (Common), Graveler (Uncommon).

    First Area: Follow the path to three boulders in a triangle formation. Push the bottom boulder left, then the top-left boulder left to create an opening. Battle the Team Magma Grunt. Continue through the opening.

    Second Area: Battle the following trainers:
    • Team Magma Grunt (Poochyena Lv. 29) - $580

    Third Area: Go right to stairs, head down, and battle the Team Magma Grunt. Continue left and battle another Grunt. Head down the stairs to the south and battle two Grunts. Go down the next set of steps, then small steps west. Enter the northern entrance to an optional room.

    Optional Room 1: Battle trainers and find items.
    • Team Magma Grunt (Numel Lv. 29) + Team Magma Grunt (Mightyena Lv. 29) - $1160 (team battle)

    Return to the previous room (Third Area). Head up the steps towards two Team Magma Grunts for a forced team battle. Pick up the Full Restore. Head back down and east to another set of steps. Go up and battle two Team Magma Grunts (no double battle). Pick up the Max Elixir nearby. Head back down and right to the last set of steps. Go up to an entrance.

    Optional Room 2: Battle a trainer and find an item.

    Head down the steps in front of you to find another entrance. Go through it to the next room.

    Fourth Area: You will find two trainers, but only need to face one for now. Head all the way left to find the trainer.
