Find Steven in Meteor Falls, get TM02 Dragon Claw, and catch Bagon in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. Battle trainers Old Couple John and Jay, and Dragon Tamer Nicholas.
Walkthrough
- 1From Fallarbor Town, head to Route 114 and then to Meteor Falls, entering from the right side.
- 2Cross the bridge to your left upon entering Meteor Falls and head down the steps.
- 3Surf north to reach a waterfall. Use Waterfall to climb it and continue north onto another ledge.
- 4Go through the entrance and take the ladder located to the north and east.
- 5In the next room, take another ladder to reach Steven, but first explore other parts of the cave.
- 6Head south and west from the current room, following the path to a different ladder (avoid the ladder at the top of a set of steps).
- 7Take this ladder to reach an area with two trainers: Old Couple John and Jay (Medicham Lvl 39, Hariyama Lvl 39, $3120) and Dragon Tamer Nicholas (Altaria Lvl 37 x2, $2776).
- 8Note: After defeating Nicholas 5 times, his Altarias will hold a Dragon Fang (powers up Dragon-type moves by 10%). Steal it with Thief or Covet.
- 9To the right of Nicholas, you'll find purple ledges. Jump down these ledges, staying to the left, to find another ladder.
- 10Take this ladder and proceed down the steps to a body of water. Surf north to find a platform with an entrance.
- 11Enter this platform and surf across the water to find TM02: Dragon Claw (80 power, perfect accuracy).
- 12In this room, you can find the following Pokémon: Golbat (Very Common), Bagon (Common), and Solrock (Common). Bagon evolves into Shelgon at level 35 and Salamance at level 55. Wild Bagon may hold a Dragon Scale.
- 13Leave this room and surf south to find another platform with an entrance. Enter and pick up the PP Up.
- 14Return to the ladder you originally took to enter this room and take it.
- 15Hop across the purple ledges and go right until you find another ladder. Take it.
- 16Head south and west to find steps leading to a ladder. Take this ladder.
- 17In the small room, pick up TM23: Iron Tail (Steel-type move, decent accuracy, may raise Defense).
- 18Go through the entrance to find Steven in an alcove. Save before battling. It is recommended to have Pokémon in the Level 70-80 range.
