Guide to defeating Team Aqua Grunts and Admin Shelly at the Weather Institute in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. Get your Castform reward!

The reason Team Aqua is here is because they are interested in this Pokemon that can seemingly change to adapt to the weather, so they're tormenting the scientists upstairs. Since all that battling on route 119 made you tired, head up to the opening to the north. You'll find a passage to your left and right. Head left and use the bed to rest and restore all of your Pokemon. If needed, use the PC next to the bed as well. Now head through the right opening where Team Aqua is. Time to dispose of them.

Tips
  • The trainers in the Weather Institute use Pokémon of similar types and levels, making them relatively easy to defeat.
  • Use the bed on the first floor to heal your Pokémon before and after the battles.
  • The PC on the first floor can be used for managing your Pokémon if needed.
