Walkthrough

    In Slateport City, head north to the Slateport Harbor. Talk to Captain Stern, then Archie will steal the submarine. Gabby and Ty will be outside.

    Travel to Lilycove City. Head east to the coast, surf, and head north into the cave entrance to find Aqua's Hideout.

    Inside the hideout, defeat the lone Team Aqua Grunt (Poochyena, Lvl 32).

    Proceed through the northeast opening to a room with two warp panels. Take the right panel to find a Max Elixir.

    Return and take the left warp panel. In the next room, head right to battle three Team Aqua Grunts (Carvanha Lvl 32, Zubat Lvl 31, Carvanha Lvl 31, Zubat Lvl 31, Carvanha Lvl 31). Note: The middle two grunts can be fought as a double battle.

    After the battle, go left to the bottom-left corner and take the warp panel.

    In the new room with three warp panels, take the right one.

    In the next room with three warp panels, take the middle one.

    In the next room with three warp panels, take the left one.

    In the next room with three warp panels, take the left panel. You'll reach a room with 4 item balls; the two on the left contain a Nugget and a Master Ball. The two on the right are Electrode (Lvl 30).

    Backtrack: Take the panel you came from, then the right panel, then the middle panel, then the left panel to return to the first three-warp-panel room (you'll be on the right panel).

    Take the top warp panel.

    Head right to where the two Team Aqua Grunts were and take the warp panel there.

    In the next room, defeat the Team Aqua Grunt (Carvanha, Lvl 32).

    Take the warp panel next to the grunt to find a Nest Ball. Return.

    Take the other warp panel in the room. Proceed through the opening.

    Defeat the Team Aqua Grunt (Zubat, Lvl 32).

    Go through the opening to the right to face two Team Aqua Grunts (Zubat Lvl 32, Carvanha Lvl 32). They can be fought as a double battle.

    Step through the warp panel in front of them to battle Aqua Admin Matt (Golbat Lvl 34, Mightyena Lvl 34).

    After the battle, Archie escapes with the submarine. Head right and take the lower warp panel to return to the first warp panel room.

    Go through the opening in front of you to return to the main room. Surf across the water to exit the hideout.

    Heal your Pokémon. Continue right onto Route 124 to head to Mossdeep City.

  • The Master Ball is a one-time item that catches any Pokémon without fail.
