Discover all 6 hidden 1-Up Mushrooms in Super Mario 64's Bowser In The Fire Sea level! Get detailed locations and strategies to grab every extra life.

Hey there! Ready to tackle Bowser In The Fire Sea? This level can be a bit tricky, but finding those extra lives is super helpful. Don't worry, I'll guide you through grabbing all 6 1-Up Mushrooms hidden within this fiery domain. Some of these might only pop up after you've beaten Bowser once, so keep that in mind!

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Mushroom 1: Right after you start, you'll see a stone structure. It's the very first one you can land on after the starting platform. Just hop on top to grab your first 1-Up!
  2. 2
Mushroom 2: Keep moving forward, and you'll spot another stone structure. This is the second one you'll encounter. Land on it to find the next 1-Up Mushroom.
  3. 3
Mushroom 3: After navigating some wobbly stone platforms, you'll come across a pole leading to an elevator. Climb all the way to the top of this pole. Once you reach the peak, jump off. A special homing 1-Up Mushroom will appear right out of the pole's top and fly straight to you!
  4. 4
Mushroom 4: This one is a bit more involved. You'll reach an area where the whole platform moves up and down. Before that, though, you'll pass a circular platform with some Bully enemies. The platform that moves up and down has a yellow block on its first solid section. If you don't see the block immediately, just wait a few seconds for the platform to rise, and it will appear. Hit the yellow block to reveal a 1-Up Mushroom.
  5. 5
Mushroom 5: Near the very end of the level, after you've carefully crossed a series of six lava platforms, you'll see a stone structure that looks too high to jump onto. Don't worry! There's a yellow block on top of it. To reach it, you'll need to use a wall kick to get up onto the structure and then hit the block for your 1-Up.
  6. 6
Mushroom 6: This is right next to the previous one. Also at the very end of the level, past those six lava platforms, is that same tall stone structure. This time, a 1-Up Mushroom is just sitting out in the open on top. You'll need to perform a wall kick to get up there and snag this stationary extra life.
Tips
  • Remember that some of these 1-Ups might not appear until you've completed the level and beaten Bowser at least once.
  • For Mushroom 5 and 6, mastering the wall kick is key to reaching the high stone structure. Practice it on walls if you need to!
  • Don't rush through the lava platform section; take your time to ensure you don't fall in.
