1-Up Mushroom Locations - Hazy Maze Cave

Mushroom 1: Alright, when you first spawn into the level, hang left. You'll see a pit; just long jump right over it and head through the door. Keep going until you reach an area with a bottomless pit and some rolling boulders. Carefully dodge those boulders and go through the next door you see. In this new room, you'll spot an elevator with eight coins, and on the other side, there's a yellow '!' box. Hit that box, and boom! A 1-Up Mushroom pops out.

Mushroom 2: This one's in the Toxic Maze. You'll need to navigate through the maze until you find a spot with two Monty Mole holes right next to each other on a platform. Once you're there, take out eight Monty Moles. Doing so will make a 1-Up Mushroom appear.

Mushroom 3: Also in the Toxic Maze, keep searching until you find a platform that's elevated above the toxic gas. This platform has a single Monty Mole hole on it. Just like the last one, defeat eight of these Monty Moles, and a 1-Up Mushroom will show up.

Mushroom 4: For this 1-Up, you'll need to reach this specific wire cage material that's hanging over the big pit where those giant rolling boulders fall. If you're not sure how to get to this spot, head into the Toxic Maze and look for a steel door in the very first alcove you see in the wall. This is the same door that leads to the 'A-Maze-Ing Emergency Exit' star. Once you're in the section with the wire cage, jump onto it and hold the A button to hang on. Take the path to the left, which leads to a yellow '!' box. Hit that box, and you'll get your 1-Up Mushroom!
