Walkthrough

Go to the platform next to the pole with the red coin and talk to the Bob-omb Buddy.

Jump into the cannon (the trapezoid-shaped gray rock sticking out of the water near the start of the level).

Aim towards the pole on the left-hand side.

Aim the cannon at the top of the pole and shoot Mario out.

Mario should land on the top of this pole and grab it.

Aim Mario's back at the gray platform sticking out of the wall and jump.

Mario should maneuver backwards and clinch the edge.

Jump up and hit the yellow '!' Block to get the star.
