Star 1 - Boil the Big Bully - Lethal Lava Land

Start by jumping from your initial platform to the next, then across to an arch with a gold platform. Be cautious of Podoboo enemies (fireballs) that leap from the lava.

On the next ledge, you will encounter a Bully. Punch it off the platform into the lava.

Go left and cross the drawbridge when it is closed to reach a steel mesh platform with a Mr. I. Run around the Mr. I to defeat it and collect a blue coin.

Proceed to the gold-colored steps, then jump onto the platform that emerges and submerges in the lava. Stay in the middle of this platform when it dips.

Cross this platform to a shape-shifting puzzle platform featuring Bowser. Be aware that random puzzle pieces move, indicated by shaking.

Reach the top of the puzzle platform and jump onto the next gold platform.

On this platform, defeat the two Bullies by punching them into the lava for coins.

Cross this platform to a plate structure with a rotating double-sided flamethrower. To its right is a wooden platform bobbing in the lava.

Carefully cross the plate, timing your jumps to avoid the flames, and jump onto the wooden platform.

Cross the next platform and jump onto the final platform where the Big Bully awaits.

To defeat the Big Bully, lure it to the edge of the platform, jump around it, and quickly punch it into the lava. Fighting from the middle is less effective as it allows the Big Bully to charge again.

After defeating the Big Bully, the Power Star will appear on top of a large pillar in the middle of the lava.

Climb the appearing steps in front of the pillar; they fall shortly after you step on them.

Collect the star from the pillar.
