Star 6 - Wall Kicks Will Work - Cool, Cool Mountain

Alright, so you're going for Star 6 in Cool, Cool Mountain, huh? This one's called "Wall Kicks Will Work," and yeah, you guessed it, wall kicks are gonna be your best friend here. We need to get to the very bottom of the level, near where the mama penguin hangs out.

First things first, we gotta get you to the cannons. If you haven't already, find the ski lift. Hop on, and it'll take you past this little island platform where a pink Bob-omb is chilling. You need to jump onto that island and chat with the Bob-omb to unlock the cannons. Once that's done, wait for the ski lift to come back down, hop on again, and let it take you all the way back to where you started.

Now, right next to the ski lift and that tree, there's a cannon. Jump inside! This cannon is your ticket to a whole new area across a big pit. Your goal is to aim the cannon so you land on the tree in that new section. Fire away! If you nail it, you'll soar across the pit and land right on the tree. Let go of the tree and keep moving across a narrow snowy path. Watch out, there are two of those spinning flower enemies on it, so be careful not to get hit.

Once you're past the spinning flowers, you'll see 8 coins forming an arrow. Grab 'em! They're pointing the way to the next pit. To cross this one, you'll need to do a long jump. Remember how to do that? Just run, press Z, and then jump.

After you land, you'll see a spinning heart. Run through it to max out your energy – always a good idea! Keep heading right, and you'll come to a wall. This is where the star's name comes into play! Run up to the wall and use the wall kick technique to launch yourself onto the platform above. If you're not sure how to wall kick, it's simple: jump at the wall, and as you hit it, press A to 'bounce' off.

Once you're on that first new platform, hustle all the way to the right. You'll need to do a double jump combined with a wall kick to reach the highest platform. Now, you're almost there! You'll see a big, slippery sheet of ice. Take your time walking across this; if you slip off, you'll have to wall kick your way back up here again, and nobody wants that! The star is waiting for you right at the very end of the ice. Just be super careful not to fall off!
