AGGRESSIVE DEFENSE SYSTEM
Energy Rate: 10 UNITS / MINUTE
Releases aerosol nanoparticles that prematurely detonate incoming missiles and grenades. It protects against missiles, armed grenades, flamethrower streams, plasma pellets, and throwing knives. It detects all armed grenades from across the map. When upgraded, it explodes missiles and plasma pellets at their origin, dealing lethal damage to MJ12 Commandoes and Plasma Rifle wielders. It is more defendable to keep on as a precaution than Ballistic Protection due to its low energy rate.
Notes: This Augmentation creates an invisible cloud of nanoparticles when a threat is detected.
SPY DRONE
Energy Rate: 150 UNITS / MINUTE
Advanced nanofactories assemble a spy drone on demand, which can be remotely controlled until released or destroyed, at which point a new drone is assembled. Further upgrades equip the spy drone with better armor and a one-shot EMP attack. The Spy Drone is the best way to deal with bots. The spying aspect becomes less useful with game familiarity, and Vision Enhancement is better for spotting enemies. At Level 3, the Drone can disable any bot. Level 4 is an upgrade for a faster Drone, reducing detonation time and bioelectricity spent. At low upgrade levels, the Drone may not fly far enough to reach its target before energy runs out.
TARGETING
Energy Rate: 40 UNITS / MINUTE
Provides image-scaling and recognition through multiplexing the optic nerve with doped polyacetylene 'quantum wires'. It increases accuracy with ranged weapons and delivers limited situational info about a target.
