Navigate Part 16 of the Deus Ex walkthrough, uncovering secrets in the clinic, accessing the Underworld Bar, and interacting with key characters like Jordan Shea and Jock.
Walkthrough
- 1In the clinic, access the computers. The one near the entrance uses the code ALICE_PRIEST/SECRETARY. The one in the office uses JALLRED/APPLE. Both codes are not legally obtainable.
- 2Behind the left two glass doors, you'll find a MED BOT. The door is secured by an 80% Strength Keypad. You can bypass it using Multitools, paying 1200 credits, using a Baton to bash it open, or by obtaining the code.
- 3Consider the Augmentation Container found in Castle Clinton. It provides either Aqualung or Environmental Resistance. You can choose to install one now or drop the container if you plan to use other Torso augmentations later. Djibriel's recommendation for first-time players is Environmental Resistance.
- 4Exit the clinic. Northeast of the clinic entrance is the door to the Underworld Bar. East of the entrance, find a DataCube with ATM account information: account# 947761, pin# 2867.
- 5Enter the Underworld Bar. The bar is run by Jordan Shea, who prohibits weapons.
- 6You can speak with Joe Greene, a reporter. Interacting with him may lead to him questioning your actions with UNATCO. Killing him is possible but not recommended as he has future roles.
- 7Janey, a prostitute, will ask for your help regarding a punk named Johnny threatening her friend.
- 8Secondary Goal: A man named Johnny has taken a woman into an alley west of the Underworld Bar. Investigate this situation.
- 9At the bar, talk to Jock, who will become important later. You need to buy him two drinks ('Fortys' at 10 credits each) for information on Smuggler and Area 51. Purchase these from Jordan Shea.
- 10Behind the bar counter, you can find a MEDKIT.
- 11Obtain information from Jordan Shea. Killing her is possible but not recommended as she appears later in the game.
