Navigate the Statue area and enter the Lady of Liberty in Deus Ex Part 6. Discover sunken ships, bunkers, weapon mods, and bypass security systems.
Walkthrough
- 1At the Statue, locate a sunken ship with a hatch requiring Lockpicking (Str 20%) or a TNT box. Use a TNT box by dropping it near the hatch, then shooting it when it floats above. If unsuccessful, use a Lockpick or GEP Gun. The hatch grants 50 SP EXPLORATION BONUS for entering the Sunken ship.
- 2Inside the ship, find a SAWED-OFF SHOTGUN, an ACCURACY WEAPON MODIFICATION, and a RELOAD WEAPON MODIFICATION. Use the Light Augmentation to help with the dive; swimming back up for air may be necessary to avoid Torso damage if not trained in Swimming.
- 3From the North Dock, turn East to reach the backside of the Statue. Use crates to ascend. Deal with NSF grunts and a bunker. Disable the patrolling NSF grunt and the terrorist inside the bunker.
- 4South of the bunker, find two large containers. The bottom container has three Med Bots, accessible via a 10% Str Lock on the UNATCO MEDLAB sign.
- 5Near the bunker entrance, find a HAZMAT SUIT, a MULTITOOL on top of the crates with the ladder, and a DataCube. To cross the electricity, lift the forklift, jump on the fork, and then onto the power box. Alternatively, use a Multitool. The HazMat Suit does not protect against electricity. Bypassing the power box grants 250 SP EXPLORATION BONUS for bypassing the Power Box in the Bunker.
- 6Past the power box, find a CROWBAR, a FIRE EXTINGUISHER, a BIOELECTRIC CELL, a LASER WEAPON MODIFICATION, and a CLIP WEAPON MODIFICATION in three crates. The Laser mod is useful on the Crossbow but requires activation when drawing the weapon.
- 7Enter the Lady of Liberty from the back. Behind the Statue, find a Combat Supply Crate with 6 rounds of 10MM AMMO at the bottom of stacked metal crates. Ascend the crates.
- 8At the top, turn South to face an NSF grunt and a mercenary carrying TRANQUILIZER DARTS. Disable them. Around the corner, find a crate with a MEDKIT. Continue to stairs going up.
- 9Take the ramp further up to an entrance. Three of the four entrances are booby-trapped with Gas Grenades. Disable and collect them if quick enough, or if trained in Demolition. Collect all three GAS GRENADES.
- 10Pass two terrorists. You can sneak past them to stairs going down.
- 11Go down two levels, past an NSF guy. You will reach the torch area. A camera is present; if it sees you, it will activate a turret. If you used the Terminal earlier, the camera is offline. Otherwise, use a Multitool or time your movement to avoid its gaze. A crate contains a LOCKPICK.
- 12On this floor, an alarm is present. Shooting the NSF guy might trigger the alarm before he passes out. Using a prod or bullet is a wiser option. Beware of an NSF guy on the upper North level.
- 13On this floor, find a crate with a MEDKIT, a CROWBAR on the ground, a DataCube, a FIRE EXTINGUISHER behind glass, a LOCKPICK, and a L(ightweight) A(ttack) M(unitions) (LAM). An ATM contains 200 base ATM Value; wait for account info later for full withdrawal.
- 14Before the lasers, dispatch one more enemy on this side. Take stairs up on the side of the lasers to a ring around the level below. A single NSF guy patrols here; use a Tranq. Dart to prevent him from reaching the alarm. A crate contains loot.
Tips
- The Light Augmentation is very helpful for the dive into the sunken ship.
- Consider the Swimming skill to avoid taking Torso damage during the dive.
- Accuracy and Reload weapon modifications are best used on specific weapons (Crossbow and GEP gun, respectively). Avoid using them on the generic Pistol.
- The HazMat Suit does not protect against electricity.
- If you lack reflexes for the forklift maneuver, a Multitool can disable the electricity.
- The Laser weapon modification is powerful but requires careful timing.
- Sneaking past enemies is an option, especially if you want to avoid combat.
- If the camera is active, use a Multitool or precise timing to avoid detection.
- Wait to access the ATM until you find account information later in the game for a potentially larger withdrawal.
- Tranq. Darts can be effective for disabling enemies quietly, but be mindful of potential alarm triggers.
