Follow this Deus Ex walkthrough to destroy tri-hull weld points, disable guards, and cut power to transformers on the Below Decks freighter.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Find a BIOELECTRIC CELL. On the North East side, find a 100 CREDIT CHIT behind a 20% Str Lock.
  2. 2
Unlock the door with the Keyring to enter Below Decks. Gain 30 SP ACCOMPLISHMENT BONUS for passing.
  3. 3
On Deck 2, descend stairs. Grab two GAS GRENADES on the floor after the loading screen.
  4. 4
Descend stairs to the South. Two Chinese Guards are present but can be disabled or ignored.
  5. 5
Head into the Boiler room, keeping the South wall to your left.
  6. 6
Turn right around the Control Tower's corner; find a 20% Str Keypad. Use code 9753 to raise the bridge in engineering.
  7. 7
Go up the ramp behind the Keypad. To the Northeast, find a crate with a LAM. Near the North wall, find a crate with a BIOELECTRIC CELL. To the Northwest is a tri-hull weld point to save for later.
  8. 8
Find the ladder near the ramp and climb up into the Control Tower. Gain 40 SP AREA LOCATION BONUS for entering.
  9. 9
Be silent inside; three Sailors with Tranq. Darts are upstairs.
  10. 10
To the Southeast, find a ladder to the Control Room. BUCKSHOT SHELLS are on the ground by the ladder.
  11. 11
Disable the Sailors upstairs. Beware of sounding the alarm, which activates a turret. Use Cloak Augmentation or Thermoptic Camo to reach the Terminal from the top of the stairs, or loot the bodies for three clips of TRANQUILIZER DARTS.
  12. 12
Use the Terminal. Enter ROOT/REINDEERFLOTILLA to disable three cameras and open the Main Below Decks Entry door.
  13. 13
Go down the ladder. Find the adjacent room to the Southwest for BALLISTIC ARMOR.
  14. 14
Use the small Metal Crate to reach the window. Break it and leave on the red metal pipe.
  15. 15
Follow the pipe until you see several gray Metal Crates and a tri-hull weld point. Leap down (use Speed Enhancement to mitigate minor damage). Tong will contact you about the weld points.
  16. 16
There are three crates containing a LAM, 7.62x51MM AMMO, and a BIOELECTRIC CELL. Climb the metal crates, stand on the metal wall, and use an explosive to blow up the weld point. Gain 120 SP ACCOMPLISHMENT BONUS for destroying the first tri-hull weld.
  17. 17
Leap down on the other side. Use Microfibral Muscle and Speed Enhancement to cross a gap if you placed a Barrel.
  18. 18
Make your way to the Southeast corner, being careful if you didn't disable the guards earlier.
  19. 19
Head to the 'Electrical' area. In the area where the two guards were, find crates with DARTS and TRANQUILIZER DARTS. Beware the camera to the West.
  20. 20
For a detour, head South. Find 10MM AMMO behind crates to your left. Around the corner, find a LOCKPICK in a chest and some DARTS on the floor.
  21. 21
Find the Terminal. Use ROOT/REINDEERFLOTILLA to disable three cameras and open a door. Return to the guard post.
  22. 22
Head North, then East. Ignore the Engine Room door. Behind barrels, find BUCKSHOT SHELLS. Behind crates, find two wooden crates with 30.06 AMMO and 7.62x51MM AMMO.
  23. 23
    Talk to the Electrician.
  24. 24
Secondary Goals: Cut the power to the transformers that are shorting out and electrifying the overhead walkway. Two control panels are involved.
Tips
  • A tri-hull boat has a prominent center hull and two smaller side hulls for planing and stability.
  • Transformers change AC voltage or perform current conversion.
  • Capacitors store electricity between two plates separated by an insulator.
  • 30 SP ACCOMPLISHMENT BONUS: Enter Below Decks freighter
  • 40 SP AREA LOCATION BONUS: Enter Control Tower
  • 120 SP ACCOMPLISHMENT BONUS: Destroy first tri-hull weld
