Defense Rankings: Characters are categorized by the amount of damage they receive, from taking the least to taking the most. For example, Captain America takes less damage than normal, while Cammy takes more. CPU-controlled opponents in modes like Arcade Mode and Training Mode take less damage than normal.

Defense Tiers (Least to Most Damage):

  • TAKES LEAST DAMAGE: Rogue (Defense Up), Silver Samurai (Koori x1-3)
  • Below Normal: Sentinel, Colossus
  • Slightly Below Normal: Blackheart, Hulk, Juggernaut, Zangief

Attack Rankings: Characters are grouped by the amount of damage they inflict with their basic standing, crouching, and jumping attacks.
