Review the revision history for the Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes FAQ, including updates from version 0.1 on May 4, 2000, to the final version 0.7 on July 11, 2000.

Version 0.7 - FINAL (July 11, 2000)

This is the final revision of the FAQ. It includes corrections, plot information for new characters, and title art. An attempt was made to include attack damage lists for every character, but it proved too difficult to verify and include within the FAQ's existing size. The author apologizes to Hoang Nguyen for not including his extensive work due to plagiarism issues and personal fatigue.

Version 0.6 (May 25, 2000)

This version added a defense ranking chart, identified all hypercancelable moves, and detailed moves that cause the Flying Screen effect on the ground. Information on air dashes and triangle jumps was included. The translations section now provides move descriptions. The author also identified moves that do more damage when buttons are tapped, with the exception of Otoko Michi and Juggernaut Headcrush due to mashing speed limitations. Notes and corrections for characters, Juggernaut's glitch, and new bugs for Sentinel and Sakura were also added.

Version 0.5 (May 17, 2000)

This revision includes information on Silver Samurai after approximately one to two hours of testing, along with another glitch and a quick note on Gambit.

Version 0.4 (May 16, 2000)

New additions include a character ranking by attack power and a list of damages for normal punches and kicks. Two glitches for Psylocke and Zangief were added, along with more aerial rave finishers. Mistakes concerning Cable, Zangief, and Super Armor were corrected, and new notes were added for Colossus, Iron Man, Jin, Omega Red, Vega, and War Machine. More information on performing partner assists during chain combos and a list of moves that do not affect partners when used against them were included. Several reader contributions were also incorporated.

Version 0.3 (May 13, 2000)

Additions were made to the Partner Assist, Variable Combination, Snapback, and Aerial Raves sections. V. Combination-only Hyper Combos (HCs) were clarified in character movelists. Corrections were made for specific characters: Ruby Heart's Tour de Magie costs 1 meter level (not 3), Colossus's Super Armor HC grants Hyper Armor, and Hayato cannot use Variable Attacks or Combinations during his Plasma Field HC. Information from contributors was added, along with details on downloading MvC2 save files from Capcom of Japan's website. A Glitches section was added due to the high number of glitches present in the game.

Version 0.2 (May 5, 2000)

Notes on Silver Samurai, Rogue, and Spiral's Speed Up ability were added. More projectiles for Iceman's no-damage-when-blocked moves were listed, and notes for Amingo, Tron, and Kobun were corrected. The Translations section was completed, and more information was added to the 'Throws and Tech. Hits' section.

Version 0.1 (May 4, 2000)

The initial version includes completed movelists, tested and added miscellaneous information, and coverage of basic gameplay elements. The release was delayed due to the author's Dreamcast console malfunctioning.
