    Slay the Giaprey!
    Objective: Slay 10 Giaprey.
    Location: Arctic Ridge.
    Notes: Talk to the Pokke Chief. Bring Hot Drinks as the cold saps stamina. Giaprey are often found in areas 5 and 8. Completing this unlocks "The Mountain Roughrider."

    The Mountain Roughrider
    Objective: Hunt a Bulldrome.
    Location: Arctic Ridge.
    Subquest: Slay 3 Bullfango.
    Notes: Requires "Slay the Giaprey!" to unlock. Hunt a Bulldrome, a large Bullfango, in area 7. Beware its charges. Completing this quest unlocks "A Pack of Blangos," "Medicinal Mountain Herbs," "Arctic Ridge Accounting," the 3* quest "Shadow in the Mountains," and the 1* Hunter's Hub Quest "The Ingredient of Legend." It also unlocks the Mafumofu and Mafumofu S armor sets for hunters and F Mafumofu Armor and F Mafumofu Armor S for Palicos.

    A Pack of Blangos
    Objective: Slay 10 Blangos.
    Location: Arctic Ridge.
    Subquest: Mount and topple monster twice.
    Notes: The environment is unstable and Bulldrome may appear. Blangos are found in areas 6 and 8. Bring Hot Drinks.

    Medicinal Mountain Herbs
    Objective: Deliver 10 Mountain Herbs.
    Location: Arctic Ridge.
    Subquest: Deliver 2 Popo Tongues.
    Notes: Forage for Mountain Herbs (white flowers) in areas 1, 2, 6, and 7. To complete the subquest, kill and carve Popos in area 1 for Popo Tongues.

    Arctic Ridge Accounting
    Objective: Earn 1,000 Wycademy Points.
    Location: Arctic Ridge.
    Subquest: Hunt a Bulldrome.
    Notes: Gather account items to earn Wycademy Points and resource points.

  • Always bring Hot Drinks when hunting in Arctic Ridge to combat the cold's effect on stamina.
  • Be prepared for Bulldrome's charges in "The Mountain Roughrider" and potentially during "A Pack of Blangos."
  • Foraging for Mountain Herbs can be done in multiple areas, but area 1 is also a good spot for Popo to complete the subquest.
