Alright, so you've stumbled upon the Agnaktor, huh? This big fella is a Leviathan, and it's a bit of a show-off, first appearing in Monster Hunter Tri. What makes it stand out? It burrows in lava! Seriously, this thing is hardcore. It's got this awesome magma armor that's a real pain for blademaster weapons unless you've got Mind's Eye or a special ability. But here's the trick: when it dives into the lava, that armor softens up. You can even break it off, leaving parts of its body exposed. It's got a ton of breakable parts, which makes the fight super engaging!

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Weaknesses: Water, Ice.
• Weakness after armor breaks: Dragon.
• Areas: Volcano (Start: 3, Roam: 4, 5, 7, 9, Rest: 6), Volcanic Hollow (Start: 8, Roam: 2, Rest: 9).

Breakable Parts:

• Beak
• Chest
• Forelegs (both)
• Hind Legs (both)
• Fin
• Tail (break and cut)

Agnaktor's Attacks:

1. Beak Slam: Agnaktor slams its beak into the ground up to three times. If its beak is hardened, this attack will soften its armor.
2. Slithering Charge: It'll just slither forward to try and knock you over.
3. Hipcheck: Agnaktor positions itself sideways and rapidly sidewinds towards you. Even Aerial Style dodges might struggle to get over its hitbox.
4. Fire Laser: It spits a sweeping fire laser. Sometimes, it'll pop out of the ground just from the chest up and perform this attack.
5. Lava Burrow: Agnaktor dives into the lava and pops out somewhere else, often right beneath you.
6. Lava Charge: While burrowed, it'll partially expose its body and charge. This deals heavy damage and inflicts Fireblight.
7. Body Whip: It coils up and then rapidly whips its tail at you.

Strategy:

• Keep an eye on Agnaktor's lava armor. When it's hardened, blademaster weapons will bounce off unless you have Mind's Eye or a similar ability.
• The best time to attack is when Agnaktor dives into the lava. Its armor softens, making it vulnerable. You can even break off parts of its armor this way.
• Water and Ice element weapons are your best bet against Agnaktor. Once its magma armor is completely gone, it becomes weak to Dragon element.
• Watch out for its burrowing attacks, especially the Lava Charge, as they deal significant damage and can inflict Fireblight.
• Focus on breaking its various parts – the Beak, Chest, Forelegs, Hind Legs, Fin, and Tail are all breakable and can yield valuable rewards.
