Alright, hunter! So you've dipped your toes into Prowler Mode and are ready to tackle the 3-star quests. These are a nice step up, offering some fun challenges and important unlocks. Let's break 'em down so you can get through them smoothly.

Verdant Hills Bully

This one's all about getting a little payback. Your objective is to slay 8 Melynxes in the Verdant Hills. These are those pesky black cats that love to swipe your items. Don't worry, they won't actually die – they'll just dig away to escape, sometimes leaving behind shiny items. Knocking these out is super important because it unlocks the rest of the Prowler Quests for this tier and bumps up your Palico hiring limit to a whopping 36!

Lucky Hills Cat

Think of this as a mini-audit for your feline friend. The goal here is to earn 800 Wycademy Points. It's pretty straightforward, just like any other Wycademy Point quest, but scaled down for your Prowler.

The Mining Drag

Time to get your paws dirty! You'll need to deliver 8 Balmstone Pieces, found in the Misty Peaks. These are account items, meaning you mine them from the nodes scattered around. The best part? As a Prowler, you've got infinite Bug Nets and Pickaxes, so gathering these should be a breeze.

Felyne Fishing Weekly

This quest requires you to deliver 3 Premium Sashimi. Remember, the fishing spot right in base camp won't yield these, so you'll need to find another spot to cast your line.

Grooming the Moofahs

For this quest, you need to deliver 5 pieces of Moofah Fur. Head to the Deserted Island and find those fluffy Moofahs. The key here, just like in the "Moofah Must-haves" quest, is to bring a cutting weapon for your cat. Hit the Moofahs, and they'll drop shiny items – that's the fur you need. Just try to gather what you need without completely overwhelming them!

Bug Reports

This quest tasks you with slaying 10 Vespoid or Hornetaur in the Marshlands. Vespoids are the flying, wasp-like insects, while Hornetaur are the larger, ground-bound grasshoppers. Be aware that Vespoids look similar to Bnahabra, so keep an eye out. To even get this quest, you'll need to have completed at least 2 other 3-star Prowler Quests. Finishing this one is a big deal, as it unlocks the 4-star Prowler Quest "Great Maccao Headbreaker" and also grants you the Moga Bee Yard for your trade carts.

Completing these quests not only progresses your Prowler Mode journey but also unlocks new options and capabilities, making your Palico even more valuable!
