Welcome to Mesagoza, the heart of the Paldea region! This city is huge, packed with shops and restaurants where you can grab items, customize your character, and even boost your Pokémon's stats with special meals. You'll find a Delibird Presents shop here too, perfect for stocking up on Poké Balls and other essentials, though you might want to save your exploring for later. The two Pokémon Centers, one on the west and one on the east, are super handy for fast travel using the Flying Taxi. As you head towards the Academy, you'll spot a girl with an Eevee backpack getting hassled by some Team Star grunts. Step in to help her out! You'll have to battle them to stop their antics. After the first battle, your rival Nemona will show up and give you the Tera Orb. This is a big moment – you'll now be able to Terastallize your Pokémon! Don't worry if you don't get it right away; you'll have another battle right after. The first Team Star grunt you face will have a Level 8 Shroodle. After that, Nemona will appear again and give you the Tera Orb. Then, you'll face another Team Star grunt. You'll get 416 Pokémon Dollars for your troubles.
