Build a support Slowbro for the 7-Star Cinderace Tera Raid in pokemon scarlet and violet. Requires Leftovers (20,000 Poké dollars) and Bold Mint.

Availability: The 7-Star Black Crystal Cinderace Tera Raid is available from December 30th to January 1st, 2023, and again from January 13th to January 15th, 2023.

How to Catch a Slowbro: Slowbro can be found near the islands in the center of Casseroya Lake. Alternatively, Slowpoke evolves into Slowbro at level 37 and can be found in West Province (Area Two), East Province (Area Two), and near Casseroya Lake.

The Best Slowbro Tera Raid Build:

• Tera Type: Psychic (preferred for extra damage) or Water
• Nature: Bold (raises Defense)
• EV Focus: HP and Defense
• Ability: Oblivious
• Moveset: Psychic, Yawn / Iron Defense, Chilling Water, Slack Off / Heal Pulse
• Held Item: Leftovers (restores HP gradually)

The Bold nature is crucial for boosting defense. Leftovers, purchased at Delibird Presents in Cascarrafa for 20,000 Poké dollars, provide HP sustain. Use a Bold Mint to change your Slowbro’s nature.

Slowbro Tera Raid Build Strategy:

1. Psychic: A strong damage-dealing attack that Cinderace (a Fighting Tera type) takes x2 damage from. Slowbro learns Psychic at level 36.
2. Chilling Water: Use early in the battle to lower the target’s Attack by one stage, increasing survivability. Learnable via TM022, given by Cascarrafa Gym Leader Kofu after defeat.
3. Yawn / Iron Defense: Yawn (learned naturally at lv 9) makes the target drowsy, causing sleep at the end of the next turn. This only works if the target's Tera Shield is down. If you're unsure about landing Yawn, use Iron Defense (learned via TM104, found on North Paldean Coast) to raise Defense.
4. Slack Off / Heal Pulse: Slack Off (learned naturally at lv 33) recovers half of your Slowbro’s maximum HP. Heal Pulse (learned naturally at lv 51) restores up to 50% of a target’s maximum HP, useful for healing yourself or teammates.
