First things first, you'll want to head to the Coastal Biome in the Terarium. Your best starting point is the Coastal Outdoor Classroom, which is located up on the mountain towards the southwest side of the biome.

Now, get yourself to the center of the northern half of these grasslands. We've marked the exact spot on our map for you. You're aiming for an area near a tall bit of foliage, where three larger trees kind of form a meeting point.

Keep an eye out for a subtle gust of wind with leaves swirling around it. This is your sign!

Stand right in the middle of this gust and start spinning your character clockwise. Just keep rotating the circle pad in the same direction as the wind and leaves. It might take a bit, so try spinning for about 30 seconds to be safe.

As soon as you've done that, quickly open the camera using the Down button on your D-pad. Then, immediately switch to the Sepia filter. You do this by pressing Left on the D-pad five times.

Now, look around. If you did everything right, you should start hearing singing! That's Meloetta letting you know it's appeared. If you don't hear anything, don't sweat it – just try again from a slightly different spot or spin a bit longer.

Once you hear the singing and spot Meloetta, turn off the camera. Then, just walk up to it and press the A button to interact and start the battle to catch it.

Tips

Meloetta is a Level 70 Pokémon and is initially Normal/Psychic type.
When it uses its move Relic Song, it'll switch to its Normal/Fighting Pirouette form. It can switch back and forth between these forms.
