If you’ve been delving into the world of Tera Raids in pokemon scarlet and violet and have reached the point of taking on the challenging 5 and 6 Star Tera Raids, you may realize just how much more strategy comes into play. Finding the best Ceruledge raid build is a solid call. More importantly, you may notice that clearing these offline with the AI is incredibly challenging, to the point of almost impossible. Even online can be challenging if your teammates choose Pokémon that are not ideal for the battle.

• You must evolve a Charcadet into Ceruledge, as it cannot be caught in the wild.
• Obtain the Malicious Armor by trading 10 Sinistea Chips with Zapapico. Sinistea Chips are obtained by defeating Sinistea.
• Use the Malicious Armor on Charcadet to evolve it.

How to Catch Charcadet:

Charcadet can be found in West Province Area 1, roaming east of Bombirdier. Alternatively, it can be found in South Province Area 2, northwest of the South Province Area 3 Pokemon Center. Charcadet is weak to Water, Rock, and Ground types, taking 2x damage from them. Using Pokémon of these types that are slightly above Charcadet's level can help lower its health before attempting to catch it. If you picked Quaxly as your starter, it is a good candidate.

Moveset:

• Bitter Blade: Taught by taking Ceruledge to Level 42. This Fire-type move recovers half the damage inflicted.
• Shadow Claw: A TM found in the open world, easiest to find in Tagtree Thicket or West Province Area One. This Ghost-type move increases the chance of landing a Critical Hit.
• Taunt: A TM found on the outer edge of Casseroya Lake, or craftable via the TM Machine after defeating Team Star’s Fighting Crew. This Dark-type move forces the opponent to only use Attack Moves for 3 turns.
• Swords Dance: Taught by taking Ceruledge to Level 37. This move sharply raises the user’s Attack stat.

Strategy:

1. Begin the battle with Taunt to prevent the opponent from using special attacks for three turns.
2. Use Swords Dance to increase your Attack stat.
3. Follow up with Shadow Claw, aiming for Critical Hits to deal significant damage.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 unless you take substantial damage.
5. If your health is low, use Bitter Blade to recover health.
