How to Catch Every Starter Pokémon in the Indigo Disk: Dlc

Learn how to unlock and catch every starter Pokemon in the Indigo Disk DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Find locations for Charmander, Totodile, Snivy, and more across all biomes.

To catch starter Pokémon in The Indigo Disk DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you first need to upgrade the Terarium biomes using BP (Blueberry Points) earned from Blueberry Quests. After upgrading a biome, starter Pokémon will begin to spawn there like regular wild Pokémon.

How to Unlock Starter Pokémon:

1. Progress through the initial story of The Indigo Disk until you meet Drayton and gain access to the League Club PC.
2. Use the PC to access requests from the Terarium Club.
3. Spend 3000 BP on each of the four biome upgrade requests. The quickest way to earn BP is by completing Blueberry Quests, especially with online or local co-op.

Starter Pokémon Locations:

After a biome is upgraded, starter Pokémon will appear. Using encounter-boosting sandwiches or meals (Fire, Water, or Grass type) can increase their spawn rates.

Savanna Biome

• Charmander — Near the entrance to the Terarium.
• Totodile — Around the small mud pool near the center and the larger one to the north-east.
• Snivy — North-east part of the biome.
• Fennekin — The nearby area north of Savanna Plaza.
• Rowlet — Grassy areas throughout the biome.
• Sobble — Around the mud pools to the far west, east, and south.

Coastal Biome

• Bulbasaur — South-west part of the biome.
• Chikorita — Grassy areas everywhere except the island with Coastal Plaza.
• Mudkip — Inside Torchlit Labyrinth.
• Froakie — On the island with Coastal Plaza.
• Popplio — Around the water throughout the biome.
• Grookey — South-east part of the biome.

Canyon Biome

• Squirtle — Near the water around the southern half of the biome.
• Treecko — Highlands south-east from Canyon Plaza.
• Turtwig — Throughout the northern half of the biome.
• Tepig — Rocky areas throughout the biome, minus the areas directly north of Canyon Plaza.
• Chespin — Inside Chargestone Cavern.
• Litten — Rocky areas throughout the biome, minus the far east and far south.

Polar Biome

• Cyndaquil — Inside a small cave west from Coastal Plaza.
• Torchic — Inside a small cave south from Polar Plaza.
• Chimchar — Throughout the southern half of the biome.
• Piplup — Around the water throughout the biome.
• Oshawott — Around the water throughout the biome.
• Scorbunny — Throughout the southern half of the biome.
