Back In Vaniville Town

Welcome back to Vaniville Town after beating the Champion! Your adventure continues as you meet Professor Sycamore and unlock new areas.

Alright, you've done it! You beat the Champion and now you're back in your room in Vaniville Town. Pretty sweet, huh? First things first, head downstairs and have a chat with your mum. She'll let you know that Professor Sycamore is waiting for you at Lumiose Station. Let's not keep the good Professor waiting!

As you head out the door, Shauna will catch up with you. She's looking to trade! This is a great chance to get a Pokémon you might have missed. If Froakie was your starter, she'll give you a Fennekin. If Fennekin was your starter, you'll get a Chespin. And if Chespin was your starter, she'll offer you a Froakie. Just give her any Pokémon you have on hand or stored in your PC. Once the trade is done, it's time to head to Lumiose City. Use Fly and aim for the north side of the city, landing you in North Boulevard.

Once you're in North Boulevard, make your way around the Pokémon Center in a clockwise direction. You'll spot Lumiose Station off to your left. Don't hesitate, just head right in!

As soon as you step inside Lumiose Station, Sycamore's assistants will approach you. They're here to upgrade your Pokédex with the National Pokédex function. This is huge – you can now see every single Pokémon that's ever existed! After you get your shiny new Pokédex, head north-east to find Professor Sycamore. He'll hand you the TMV Pass, which is your ticket to visiting Kiloude City!

You can use the orange machines in the station to scan your pass whenever you want to travel to Kiloude City. It's packed with new attractions, including the Friend Safari where you can find rare Pokémon. If you're not ready to head there just yet, don't worry, there are other exciting things to do now that you're the Champion.

Three legendary Pokémon are now available for you to capture: Zygarde in Terminus Cave, Mewtwo in the Unknown Dungeon, and one of three legendary birds that are roaming around Kalos. Plus, you can always battle with friends or just explore and enjoy your victory!
