Walkthrough
- 1Head west from the entrance of the Connecting Cave.
- 2You will encounter a trainer.
- 3Trainer Battle: Pokemon Breeder Mercy
- Ducklett (Level 12, Water/Flying)
- 4Litleo (Level 12, Fire/Normal)
- 5Pikachu (Level 12, Electric)
- 6Oddish (Level 12, Grass/Poison)
- 7Continue heading west, up the stairs, and then south. You cannot proceed further without the Strength HM.
- 8Head back outside.
- 9Head south until you see stairs leading west. Go up them and follow the path until you see tall grass to your south.
- 10Enter the tall grass and head west through it.
- 11You will find a Persim Berry tree. Collect a berry.
- 12Just south of the tree, you can find a Tiny Mushroom.
- 13Return to the path and continue on.
- 14You will find a tree that can be Cut. Use Cut to open a new path.
- 15Follow the new path to find a Silver Powder at the end.
- 16Head back and then west through another entrance into Connecting Cave - Zubat Roost.
- 17Head west inside the cave.
- 18When you reach a scientist, talk to her to heal your Pokémon.
- 19Continue west through the cave and exit. You will emerge onto Route 8.
Wild Pokémon:
- Connecting Cave: Axew (10%), Meditite (30%), Whismur (30%), Zubat (30%)
- Horde Battles: Axew (5%), Whismur (60%), Zubat (35%)
Tips
- Zubat are present but less common than in previous games.
- Before entering the cave, there is a tree to the north-east of the entrance that leads to an item.
- There is another Photo Spot outside the cave you can use.
