Head east and speak to a Fisherman to receive a Good Rod. The building to the east is the Seaside Station, connecting to the Pokémon Center and Courmarine City Gym.

In the hotel, speak to the woman on the ground floor's western wall to receive a Lucky Egg if your Pokémon are friendly enough. Upstairs, talk to the Game Director in the last room as your Pokédex fills up.

Return daily to a girl to receive a random TM. The available TMs are: - TM62 - Acrobatics - TM63 - Embargo - TM92 - Trick Room - TM100 - Confide

An actress will mention wanting to battle you later. You can ride the monorail from the counter to Hillcrest Station.

At Hillcrest Station, talk to a wandering man for a Metronome. Head west to the Pokémon Center to heal and check stock.

Courmarine City Pokemart (Right Clerk): Items available for purchase include Quick Ball (1,000), Timer Ball (1,000), and Repeat Ball (1,000).

West of the Pokémon Center, Mr. Bonding will give you a Befriending Power. West of the house west of the center, use your Dowsing Machine to find a Max Repel.

Head west to a junction, then south, then east into the second house. A man with purple hair allows you to change the background music. In the back right corner, a girl will mimic a Pokémon's sound; correctly identify it to receive a Poké Toy.

South of the gate, talk to a man in a black jacket to receive a Black Sludge. You can then head south to Route 13 - Lumiose Badlands.

Head north past the gate and follow the path east before the Pokémon gym to a lookout where you'll find a Sky Plate.

North of this path leads to the gym. Your rival will appear for a battle before you can enter.

After defeating your rival, heal at the Pokémon Center and prepare to challenge the gym.
