Route 16

Discover Pokémon, trainers, and hidden items on Route 16 in Pokémon X and Y. Includes Lost Hotel details, Sky Battles, and TM locations.

Route 16 connects Dendemill Town and Lumiose City, leading to the second half of the Lost Hotel. To progress, head south and use Strength to push a boulder into a hole, then move over it and head west.

You can challenge Sky Trainer Clara on a ledge above. Her team includes Emolga (Level 38) and Swellow (Level 40).

After the battle, use your Dowsing Machine and head north into the abandoned building's tall grass. Ascend to the second floor to find a hidden Max Revive. Return downstairs and enter the Lost Hotel.

Lost Hotel Continued

Inside the Lost Hotel, head west to battle Punk Guy Slater, who uses a Level 42 Dunsparce.

Continue west to find a skater who will give you TM56 - Fling. Return east and head north. Break the rock just east of this path to find a Dread Plate.

Proceed north to encounter Punk Guy Jacques, who battles with a Level 40 Skuntank and a Level 40 Crawdaunt.

After defeating Jacques, head north then west to face Punk Girl Cecile, who uses two Level 40 Liepards.

From Cecile, head south. Near breakable walls, use Rock Smash on the eastern wall to find a Protector. The next wall can be broken but contains nothing of value. This concludes the accessible parts of the Lost Hotel until a new skating ability is learned.
