Discover the secrets of Room 104 in Resident Evil Outbreak. Find items, deal with zombies, and learn how to progress to the 3F via the Lounge Stairs.
Alright, so you've made it to Room 104. From here, you can actually head back to the Apple Inn Square if you want, just take the door on the inner wall down the left path. Keep going down that left path, though, and you'll find a Handgun in Easy or Normal mode. If you're playing on Hard, you'll snag a Green Herb instead. There's also a Concrete Piece lying around – this is super useful for either attacking that zombie chilling in the burning area or, even better, luring him into the flames to take care of him. Just past that, you'll run into a second zombie. Keep pushing forward, and Kevin can grab some .45 Auto Bullets right in the middle of the stairs at the far end.
Now, you'll see a bunch of doors, but your main goal here is to find the Lounge Stairs. They're tucked away at the corner of the corridor, just past the first zombie and the burning area. This door is your ticket to the 3rd floor. It might be locked, but don't sweat it! If your partners are quick, they might have already unlocked it from the other side. If you're playing offline and took the Silver Key route, and your AIPC buddies are still kicking, the door should be open. If not, you can always break it down by force or use your lockpick. Alyssa's got a special talent for this, by the way.
Speaking of lockpicking, here's a quick rundown of what Alyssa will need depending on the difficulty:
| EASY | NORMAL | HARD | VERY HARD |
| I | I | P | S |
Those doors you passed in the middle, between the Lounge Stairs and the stairs at the other end? They're totally optional if you're playing offline. You only really need to go through them if you're looking for extra supplies, or if nobody's managed to solve the painting puzzle for the Golden Key yet. In offline mode, your AIPC pals will usually sort that puzzle out for you, assuming they're still around.
