Discover the secrets of Room 104 in Resident Evil Outbreak! Find items, deal with zombies, and learn how to access the Lounge Stairs.

Alright, so you've made it to Room 104. This area can be a bit tricky, but don't worry, I'll walk you through it. From here, you can actually head back to the APPLE INN SQUARE through the door on the left path. If you're playing on EASY or NORMAL, there's a HANDGUN waiting for you if you keep going down that left path. If you're on HARD mode, you'll find a GREEN HERB instead. Keep an eye out for a CONCRETE PIECE too – this is super useful for dealing with that idle zombie hanging out in the burning area. You can either use it to attack him directly or try to lure him into the flames to get him out of the way.

Pushing further down the path, you'll run into a second zombie. After that, if you're playing as Kevin, you can snag some .45 AUTO BULLETS near the middle of the stairs at the far end of the corridor.

Now, the main goal here is to get to the 3F using the LOUNGE STAIRS. You'll find the entrance to these stairs tucked away in the corner of the corridor, just past the first zombie and the burning area. The door to the stairs might be locked, depending on whether your AI partners managed to unlock it from the other side. If you're playing offline and took the SILVER KEY route, and your AIPCs are still kicking, the door should be open. If not, don't sweat it – you can either break the door down by force or use lockpicking. If you're playing as Alyssa, she can unlock it with her lockpick.

Here's a quick rundown of the lockpick recommendations for Alyssa:

Just a heads-up, those doors in the middle, between the LOUNGE STAIRS door and the stairs at the other end, are totally optional if you're playing offline. You only really need to go through them for extra supplies, or if nobody has solved the painting puzzle for the GOLDEN KEY yet. In offline mode, your AIPC buddies will usually handle that puzzle for you, assuming they're still around.
