Alright, so you've stumbled upon one of the nastier mutations in Resident Evil Outbreak: the MUTATED-G. This thing is basically a failed experiment from William Birkin's "G" specimen, and trust me, it's not pretty. It's identified by that giant, unsettling eyeball on its body, and it's tough – highly resistant to most weapons. But don't worry, we'll get through this!

What is the MUTATED-G?

Basically, Birkin's "G" infects humans, trying to rewrite their DNA to turn them into a G-type monster. If the host's DNA isn't a match, or if they don't get the "DEVIL" vaccine, the embryo is rejected and mutates into this bigger, uglier form. The reject in its larva form is nasty enough to burrow through steel and can even reproduce more G-larvae. The 'adult' version, the MUTATED-G, is what you'll be facing.

MUTATED-G Attacks:

• Swipe Attack: When it's up close, it'll swipe with its right hand, capable of knocking you down.
• Mist Spray: From its back, it can spray a dangerous mist that reaches about 7 feet. This is its most common attack, so try to keep your distance.
• G-Larvae: It can also spawn smaller G-larvae from its back. These little guys will latch onto you, chew your skin, and suck your blood. They're pretty easy to avoid, similar to the Baby Moth.

• Appearance: Below Freezing Point
• Danger Level: 4 (1 for G-Larva)
• Vitality: 5 (1 for G-Larva)
• Weakness: The original "G" specimen's DNA is a big weakness for its mutations.

Strategy: The Turntable Trick

There's a really neat alternate way to deal with this monster, and it's actually pretty simple. You'll find a turntable during the encounter. Get to the right side of it and press the button to move the locomotive. If the MUTATED-G is in front of the locomotive when you do this, it'll get rammed and knocked down temporarily. The locomotive will then return to its original spot and start charging up to move again. This takes about a minute. The trick is, if you press the button again while it's charging from a previous ram, it'll start up as soon as it finishes. You want to keep ramming it with the locomotive. Use your best weapons like the Magnum or Shotgun when you get the chance, especially after a ram when it's recovering.

No Weapon/Knife Tactic:

If you're going the no-weapon route, just stick to using the turntable and ramming it. It's straightforward enough if you time it right.

Important Note:

A well-aimed, close-range shotgun blast can stun the monster, but be aware that it becomes temporarily invincible during this animation until it recovers.
