Part 13

In World 2-2, stand on the Green ! Button and quickly follow the appearing platform. Hit the ? Block on the platform repeatedly for coins. Grab the last coin on the right and fall to the ground.

Star Coin Alert! #1: Defeat the two Paragoombas. Line up a wall jump on the far wall to reach the wall, then jump off it to grab the Star Coin. Jump off the wall directly north of the Star Coin's shadow. Enter the Warp Pipe in the close right corner.

Use normal and wall jumps to grab coins in the next area, then exit through the other Warp Pipe. Go right, grab coins, and stomp the Paragoomba.

Stand on the Green ! Button and follow the created path, hitting the ? Block. When the path turns sideways, wait for it to right itself, then jump the gap using the three coins as a guide.

At the end of the path, jump across the gap using the trail of coins. Time this jump carefully to avoid falling. Use Tanooki Mario's hover for an easier jump.

On the left platform, a ? Block contains a Fire Flower. Grab it if you wish. Jump back to the right platform. If not using a Tanooki Suit, consider skipping the Fire Flower due to the risk of dying.

Step on both Green ! Buttons on the platform and follow the path down, defeating the two Paragoombas.

On a minor elevated ridge to the left of the Checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death) Flag, grab a coin to trigger a coin trail leading to the Checkpoint Flag. Run through the flag.

Continue right, up the stairs. If you are Fire Mario, shoot a fireball into the unlit brazier in the far right corner. A coin trail will lead to the second Star Coin.

Star Coin Alert! #2: From the platform with the brazier, look up at the left wall. At the far side, find a crevice. Run from the brazier and jump into the crevice. Follow it around to grab the Star Coin and the Green Clock. Jump back down.

Stand on the Green ! Button and follow it around, jumping over gaps where panels disappear into purple liquid. Grab the Blue Clock and hit the brick block for a Tanooki Leaf. You may get extra coins from the flying ? Block if quick.

Continue down the green path, defeating the two Paragoombas and the Goomba near the Warp Pipe.

Star Coin Alert! #3: After exiting the Warp Pipe, go left. Look at the bottom of the left wall, made of brick blocks. If you are not Small Mario, you can break these blocks by tail spinning (Tanooki Mario) or crouching, crawling, and rolling ('X'/'Y'). Crawl underneath to find the Star Coin. Wall jump off the back wall onto the wooden platform to grab the Star Coin and other coins. Jump down and crawl back out.

Run right and step on the Green ! Button. Follow it up quickly until it stops, then jump onto the Goal Pole to collect a 1-Up. This automatically defeats the three Paragoombas around the Goal Pole.
