Walkthrough
- 1In Part 33, hit the ? Block, grab the Super Star, and run through the area to defeat the four Biddybuds and the Para-Biddybud.
- 2Grab the Star Coin at the end by jumping off the edge and falling back down.
- 3Move north over Donut Blocks to two yellow platforms. Move onto the right one and jump over the spikebar.
- 4Jump onto the left yellow platform and jump over the double spikebar twice.
- 5Stay on the left platform as it lowers. Jump onto the Donut Blocks to your left to grab the Star Coin, avoiding the spiked block.
- 6Sprint up the Donut Block stairs and jump onto the yellow platform, jumping over the double spikebar.
- 7At the end, jump onto the platform, move right, and jump up the steps.
- 8Jump left onto the south edge of the pendulum platform. Time your run to the north edge to coincide with the pendulum's peak.
- 9Jump off the edge to reach the top of the Goal Pole for a 1-Up.
- 10In World 5-4, move right and stomp the Morty Mole twice.
- 11Wait for the next Morty Mole to move out from its indent, then drop down and stomp it twice.
- 12Walk into the indent and move right, then drop down on the third Morty Mole when it's out from its indent and stomp it twice.
- 13Move into its indent and left to get a 1-Up.
- 14Run back out, continue right, jump to the top level, and kick the rock for a coin.
- 15Drop down right and stomp the Monty Mole.
- 16Walk to the back wall of this platform, to the right of the hole. Jump up to hit invisible ? Blocks, then jump onto the platform to your right to collect the Star Coin. Drop back down.
- 17Drop down the hole and grab coins. Move right until between two platforms above.
- 18Wall jump onto the right platform, move right, and stomp the Monty Mole.
- 19Jump over the gap onto the ridge above and to your right. Wait for the Morty Mole to move left, then run in.
- 20Stand where the ceiling is higher, wait for the Morty Mole to return, and stomp it twice.
- 21Continue, jump over the gap to the platform with two brick blocks. The right one contains a Fire Flower. Grab it and fall down the gap.
- 22Move left and grab the Star Coin, then move back right and drop down to the platform with the Checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death) Flag.
- 23Hit the Checkpoint Flag. (Optional: Go down the bottom left path to defeat the last two Morty Moles, requires Fire Mario).
- 24Kick the rock on the ridge for a coin. Shoot a fireball into the unlit brazier in the far right corner.
- 25Jump down the gaping hole. Collect six coins in the center.
- 26At the bottom, hit the Large ? Block for coins until three Monty Moles appear, then move out of their path and stomp them.
- 27The left and middle Warp Pipes are fakes (middle has a coin). Kick the rock on the island for a coin while dodging the Rocky Wrench's projectiles.
- 28Stomp the Rocky Wrench (wait for it to throw a wrench, then jump on it before it sinks back into its Warp Pipe). Enter the Warp Pipe.
- 29Run under the brick blocks, collecting coins (crawl for the ones on the ends).
- 30Jump onto the brick blocks, collect coins and the Green Clock.
- 31Hop back down and hit the brick block in the far right corner for a Fire Flower.
- 32Exit through the Warp Pipe.
- 33Move right and through the doorway. Use Fire Mario's fireballs to take out the Morty Mole.
- 34If not Fire Mario, run to the back wall and crawl under the small ridge to get past the Morty Mole.
- 35Follow the ridge right and jump out past the Morty Mole. Keep moving right.
Tips
- Using the Super Star in Part 33 makes collecting the Biddybuds much easier.
- Timing your jumps on the pendulum platform is crucial for reaching the Goal Pole in Part 33.
- Having the Fire Flower in World 5-4 allows you to defeat Morty Moles from a distance and clear obstacles more easily.
- Be aware of the Rocky Wrench's attack pattern in World 5-4; wait for it to throw its wrench before attempting to stomp it.
