Walkthrough
- 1Jump onto the Donut Block. Time your jump to air-stomp the Para-Biddybud simultaneously with grabbing Star Coin #2. Press 'A' as you hit the coin to jump high enough to reach the platform on the right.
- 2Hit the Warp Box on the platform.
- 3After warping, hit the Checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death) Flag (a marker that saves your progress).
- 4Continue north, avoiding brick blocks and Para-Biddybuds due to the screen's rapid north movement.
- 5Jump over gaps and stomp Para-Biddybuds.
- 6Collect coins from the two ? Blocks, with the right one containing more.
- 7Navigate a platform moving south while the screen moves north.
- 8To get Star Coin #3: If you have the Tanooki Suit, jump from the right of the coin and hover back to the platform. Without the Tanooki Suit, wait for a small part of the platform to be underneath the coin and time your jump to land on it.
- 9Continue on the moving platform north until you reach the Warp Box. Hit it.
- 10After warping, run right and jump up the platforms to the top one.
- 11Get a running start and jump from the right edge to land on the top of the Goal Pole for a 1-Up (an extra life). Be quick, or the top two platforms will move too far left to reach.
Walkthrough
- 1Move north, stomp the Bob-Omb, and knock it off the edge. Break crates for two coins.
- 2Be careful of rotating Spiked Stakes that shoot towards you.
- 3Jump diagonally right over the Donut Block.
- 4Knock the next Bob-Omb over the edge before it explodes.
- 5To get Star Coin #1: Wait for the Spiked Stake to shoot out and begin moving back. Run north-west, jumping a small gap to land on the platform with the Star Coin. Jump up and grab it.
- 6Wait for the Spiked Stake to slide back enough, then run directly right over the Donut Block onto the next edge.
- 7Hit the ? Block for a coin.
- 8As the next Spiked Stake on your right moves back, charge north along the path and onto the platform at the far end on your right before it shoots out again.
- 9On the platform to your right, a turret shoots Spiked Balls that break through crates. Run for the end, jumping over Spiked Balls if necessary.
- 10Continue right to a lip with four crates. On the platform above are two Spiked Ball Turrets. Stand in front of the crates to make the turrets shoot Spiked Balls at them, clearing a path.
- 11Jump onto the platform above, dodging Spiked Balls. Run left of the first turret. Jump over the Spiked Ball from the second turret and jump right to dodge it. Jump onto the path on your right to escape the turret's range.
- 12Continue up to a large platform. Hit the Checkpoint Flag.
- 13Look through the Binoculars (a device to view distant areas) to see the Star Coin amidst Spiked Stakes.
- 14Continue right. Drop down onto the platform, ensuring the Spiked Stake is not about to hit you.
- 15Dodge or kick the two Bob-Ombs off the edge.
- 16The left one of the last two crates contains a Fire Flower. It is recommended to use Tanooki Mario (a form that allows flight) for this level if available.
- 17As the Spiked Stake retreats, move up the Donut Blocks on your left. Time your ascent so that when you reach the top, the Spiked Stake retreats enough to allow you to run forward down the platform.
