Follow this guide to complete Part 35 of Super Mario 3D Land, including finding Star Coins, using Propeller Boxes, and navigating tricky platforms.
Walkthrough
- 1From the main platform, grab a coin from the right ? Block and a Propeller Box from the left ? Block.
- 2Jump onto the far ridge, use the Propeller Box to reach the northern rubber platform, then propel to the next rubber platform to the north-east, collecting coins as you descend.
- 3Star Coin #2: Bounce off the current rubber platform and fall to your left. Time your propeller to ascend and grab the Star Coin as you fall, then hover to the platform on your left.
- 4Bounce off the rubber platform, propel upwards, and move north to a platform with a ? Block containing a Propeller Box.
- 5Ahead are two Giant Tanooki Goombas. Propel yourself above them and fall down to defeat them. The second Goomba drops a Tanooki Leaf.
- 6Use the shadow of the Flying ? Block to judge your position, then propel up to hit it and collect the 1-Up.
- 7Tail spin the brick block at the far left corner of the platform to reveal a crank. Tail spin the crank until you reach the platform above.
- 8Jump onto the upper platform, collect the Green Clock, and hit the P-Switch.
- 9Jump and propel off the north edge, falling through five yellow rings. Adjust your trajectory as needed.
- 10Bounce off the bottom rubber platform and hover to the grass platform on your left containing a P-Switch.
- 11Hit the P-Switch. Walk off the right side of the platform, holding right to collect rainbow notes. Be precise with your movement.
- 12At the bottom of the notes, propel yourself upwards to grab the last few. If you miss, you can fall to the wooden platform below, but may not have enough time for the notes. This can be challenging and may require multiple attempts.
- 13After collecting the notes, fall to the grass platform below and grab the Tanooki Leaf that floats down.
- 14Star Coin #3: From the grass platform, jump and propel north-west to the rubber platform. Once above the Star Coin, drop down to grab it. Immediately start hovering and move to the intended rubber platform.
- 15Bounce off the rubber platform and propel north-east. Hover over the first Para-Biddybud and drop onto it.
- 16Propel yourself up and hover to the next Para-Biddybud, repeating this until you've hit all six, with the last one above the Goal Pole. This grants two 1-Ups.
- 17Drop onto the Goal Pole for another 1-Up. Having a Propeller Box upon reaching the Goal Pole grants an additional 1-Up, totaling four new 1-Ups.
