Walkthrough
- 1Run past or defeat the initial Spiny. Move left along the path and cross when the three Spiked Balls pass. Deal with the next two Spinies.
- 2Ground pound the brick blocks to the north for coins, then jump onto them to reach a higher platform. Break the brick blocks on this platform for more coins.
- 3Jump onto the right brick block and then up to hit an invisible ? Block containing a Tanooki Leaf.
- 4Move left and jump onto the descending yellow platform. Let it rise, then walk into the indent in the back wall if desired.
- 5Run right, collecting coins, and crawl when Fuzzies approach. When the yellow platform descends on the right, walk onto it. Let it rise, then move to the main platform, avoiding Spiked Balls.
- 6Run left and move south of the turret firing Spiked Balls. Wall jump off the back wall to get over Spiked Balls if necessary.
- 7Star Coin Alert! #1: At the platform south of the turret, hit the ! Block eight times quickly. Jump along the Platform Blocks as fast as possible to grab the Star Coin at the end, then run back before they disappear. Return to the platform with the turret and run right over the Donut Blocks to enter the Warp Pipe.
- 8Exit the Warp Pipe and run right across yellow platforms, dodging Spiked Balls.
- 9Jump up the moving steps, moving to lanes without incoming Spiked Balls. At the top, jump over the turrets.

- 19When you reach the slope with thick red rails, jump onto them and let the Giant Spiked Ball roll past. Run down the rail.
- 20Alternatively, perform a running jump off the right edge of the top of the right red rail to reach the final platform directly.
- 21Star Coin Alert! #3: If you want to skip the last Star Coin and reaching the top of the Goal Pole for a 1-Up (an extra life), you can grab it now. Otherwise, enter the Warp Pipe on the platform. You will warp to the base of the slope where you can collect the final Star Coin and then shoot yourself to the top of the Goal Pole.
