How to Recruit Draggy

Find the Big Egg: First things first, you need to head to Fossil Valley in Another World. You'll find the Big Egg in a nest. If you remember meeting Skelly, it's on that same screen. Look for a bone ladder to climb down. Pilfer that massive egg from the Dodo's nest. A Dodo will get pretty mad and try to attack you, but you can either fight it or just make a run for it. If you happened to miss the egg earlier, there's a rope ladder about halfway through the path you can use to get up there. After climbing up, use the vertebrae ladder to go down towards the left. You might see a soldier, but you can usually just ignore them.

Head to Home World's Fort Dragonia: Once you've got the Big Egg, you'll need to make your way to Fort Dragonia, but this time in the Home World. You'll need to borrow a boat from Norris to get to the Mt. Pyre Shore in Home World. From there, go through the tunnel to reach Fort Dragonia.

Solve the Puzzles Again: Inside Fort Dragonia (Home World), you'll need to deactivate the four obelisks on the ground floor, just like you did in Another World. The puzzles are the same, but thankfully, there are no bosses this time around.

Use the Incubator: After you've dealt with the obelisks, the central column will appear. Deactivate the fifth obelisk to bring down the elevator. Now, this is important: use the elevator to go DOWN. This will take you to the incubator room. Head to the middle incubator – it's the only one that actually works. Use your Key Items menu to place the Big Egg in there.

Hatch Draggy: Almost immediately, Draggy will hatch from the egg! The game will then ask if you want to help search for its parents. You should definitely say yes! If you don't, it's a bit unclear where Draggy ends up, and you'll miss out on recruiting them.
